James Lawson Moore is a poet and writer originally from Chesterfield, Virginia. Having studied for a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Regent University, James has had his poems, stories, and nonfiction published in The Odyssey Online, Quail Bell Magazine, The Daily Runner, The NOMOS Review, Oddball Magazine, Sherwood Forest, and Grimoire of Horror.

 

He spends much of his time in Mecklenburg County, manning the front desk at the Boydton Library and watching really bad horror movies with his two dogs and three cats. He lives with his wife, Rochelle Lilly Moore, in the old farmhouse where his mechanic-turned-preacher father grew up, and he drives a white Chevy 4WD just to get out of the dirt driveway in the morning. On a good day his life is good.
